In the Groove Design is a small business based in Sydney, Australia. It was inspired by a desire to create practical home décor pieces that would be cherished in the home as a work of art. Susan is the primary designer involved in the work with assistance from several family members.

Susan grew up on the Central Coast, NSW. She began her architectural degree at Newcastle University and completed it at the University of New South Wales. She is now a registered architect working part time on the North Shore of Sydney. Her interest in craft, woodworking and home decoration finally got the better of her and in 2006 she opened In the Groove Design.

In the Groove Design creates home décor products that are individually crafted with high attention to detail. Products can easily be custom made to suit specific requirements.
